Cola Beach is located in the south of Goa, 40 minutes from Cavelossim Beach, 4 kilometers from Agonda Beach and 15 kilometers from Palolem Beach, in the territory of Canacona taluka.
In fact, there are two beaches: Little Kola – in the north and just Kola – in the south, and they frame two neighboring bays of the Arabian Sea. It is often said that this place is mysterious and even secret, probably because the beaches are almost hidden among densely overgrown hills and until recently, tourists ignored them.
A distinctive feature of the beaches of Cola is a clear blue lagoon, which is formed by a river flowing into the sea. The distance between the sea and the lake is very small, they are separated by a narrow sandy strip. At high tide, the cool fresh water of the lagoon mixes with the warm salt water of the sea.
